E&TIM/BME 2016 Dual Degree Students’s team chosen as finalist at the Mylan Hackathon

The Steel City Engineers (a Carnegie Mellon University student team including 3 BME, 3 ECE, and 2 E&TIM students (Mayuri Gupta and Stephanie Beels) were finalists at the Mylan Hackathon with Mylan Pharmaceuticals in Canonsburg, PA. The Steel City Engineers were chosen as one of 4 of the finalist out of 24 student teams. Their app was a process innovation to change the way that patients in underdeveloped counties who have or might have HIV interact with physicians, pharmacists, and members of their community.
