This fall, Carnegie Mellon begain a campaign to honor CMU founders and the joining of the Carnegie Institute of Technology and Mellon Institute 50 years ago. E&TIM took the opportunity to honor our founders.

Mauricio Rodriguez, Engineering and Technology Innovation Management MS alumni, founded Nativo Inc to help people manage and repair flooring claims quickly and cost effectively.

Founders from the Engineering and Technology Innovation Management Master’s program established PieceMaker Technologies in 2013, allowing kids (and adults!) to print toys and jewelry from a kiosk in a retail store.

Engineering & Technology Innovation Management MS alumni, Gus Jenkins, founded Quick Connections to make business networking more effective. Quick Connections was featured at Launch CMU and Thrival Festival in 2017.
